Old news. Jeffers was good but he had some kind of work ethic problem. Our WR corp is thin but there are some good kids that will step up. Hopefully, they will this season.

Maybe he spent too much time studying since he is transfering to Vandy.

Haha.. Apparently he was sort of told shape up or he needs to play elsewhere. One thing about Edsall is he does not put up with crap. That's why he dismissed 5 players off team a few years ago for violating rules. Edsall has ran a very tight ship and he has recruited kids that fit into his system, not those 5 star rated guys who are not team players. Oh yeah, his kids do graduate.

Anyway, although many don't agree his way and some of us prefer hype by Websites, I think he is doing fine. His team has improved every year and generally never beat themselves on the field. That is a sign of good coaching.

We have number of good wide outs coming up. We have a kid named Kasif Moore and he is fast. Hopefully, these young kids will step up. Oh yeah, Edsall also recruited plenty of depth which is something we never had before. The only place we are thin is at WR position.

If he's transferring to Vandy, he'd better be spending time studying. Vanderbilt is a very good school.

Not a knock on UConn, but Vandy is a southern ivy. ECU lost a WR with 2 years eligibility left that already graduated. He has transfered to Clemson, probably for academics even though I think he will play football. The kid was not one of our go to guys, but I think would have contributed.
