No disrespect to Boise, but wow. I will be blown away if Nevada doesn't cover that spread.

The gamblers out there must be remembering the last 4 years and not focusing on this year. We've covered the spread maybe twice this year and typically we cover 90%+. So the odds makers pump up the spread to get some action on the other team.

I had doubts we'd cover the 18 point spread this past weekend and it was close.

Boy oh Boy what A weekend!!

...I think that Alabama will over look utah state just based on thier record. Thats what they do in those conference's ,so utah st. may wake them up to the fact that they have a decent d-lne. I think Alabama will be too much for utah but I hope utah st shows the grit they did with boise and Fresno. GO GET EM' AGGIES!! Keep it close!

...Ahhh the test of test for Fresno this weekend on the islands. We havent won there forever, many a close game. They will be fired up because of the 70 -14 whippin last year. fresno will be pumped being #22 and knowing that we havent won there, this wont be a trap game, as some dog fans stated, because they know darn well how good Hawaii is on the islands. They know Hawaii is out of the race and this will make their year to beat Fresno. I feel Fresno's maturity level is at an alltime high, with the senior leadership. They want to go out on top and with a conference crown. Play like we started against Idaho, and we'll be in trouble. But play like we did the rest of the year,we should be continuing the year of 1st:
1st win on the islands for a long time
1st win over boise
1st outright confernce crown
1st qb in EVER in NCAA history to win 4 bowl games for Pinegar.
All in that order, in my perfect Bulldog world, and only one loss away from shattering all that though. They will be ready for Hawaii
--------> GAME ON ABC AT 4PM (PACIFIC) <---------------

If Tech plays their game and doesn't allow San Jose to stick around by way of turnovers, which will be the only way san jose stays close in this one, then LT should win quite easily.

...Battle of the new kids on the block, a bragging right of sorts to see who is best of the newbies. I think I'll have to go with Idaho, they are playing better from what I saw when Fresno played against both on the road. I'll really take Idaho if this game is in Idaho.

...Boise vs Nevada, this one is very nice!!! Boise who has gained confidence week after week, getting the offense on track. Nevada having the confidence and being pumped up being tied for first in the WAC. Some falls out of the race after this game. I LOVE IT!! Will Fresno be playing Boise for the WAC championship in a couple weeks or will it be Playing the last game of the year in Nevada for the WAC championship?? Or will Fresno be out of it with a loss at Hawaii?? Boise teams are matched well. I have to give the edge to boise only because they are at home. Definitely not a 20 point edge though-thats insane whoever made those points. Gonna be a good one. Whats the TV situation like on that one??

...I have to admit my picks are a little homer, but I'm a little selfish because Fresno wants Boise to come into fresno undefeated in WAC play, and they want the same for us. Then we will both bring it on national TV for the showdown. Focus, focus, one game at a time.

...PLAY UP WAC!!!...ESPECIALLY UTAH STATE!! REPRESENT!!

Alabama vs. Utah St is on GamePlan I believe.

Fresno St vs. Hawaii is on ABC

Boise St. vs. Nevada is on Sports West which will probably be carried on GamePlan also

I may mark two cards, taking USU + 34.5 on one and Alabama -34.5 on the other. I really don't what to expect from a point spread basis.

Hawaii + 12.5, A strange place for visitors to cover points.

SJSU + 19.5, they keep playing hard and have been keeping games close lately.

Idaho - 5, this should be close, old Sun Belt and Big West foes.
.
Nevada + 20.5, as a Nevada fan, I'm taking the points.

Now if any of you really want to win a parlay card, just mark the opposite of me. :>)

There isn't a chance in hell that the Pack won't cover this spread, Im just hopeing the Broncos win, one point will be fine with me.
The little general hates the Broncos and it would make his season to beat the crap out of them. UGH>

GO BRONCOS GO WAC

Well he already beat UNLV which was higher on his list than Boise. I think Ault would love to beat either Boise or Fresno this year since he views both as huge rivals to the WOlf pack

Well, just to be different....I'm going to take Boise State and give the 21 points....but I only put a $100 on it. 04-drinky 04-drinky 04-drinky

I know everyone in Reno (and a lot of people in Boise apparently) believe that this will be a close one.........but I think this will be only a little closer than the last time Nevada played up here in Boise. My prediction is Boise State wins it 52 to 24. 03-wink

On the positive side tho, at least Chris Ault will hang around for the whole game this time instead of leaving at halftime like he did the last time he was here in Boise. :D

As to Fresno State vs. Hawaii, I know that Fresno hasn't won on the islands in a very long time. But I think they are due. This game's hard for me to call. I think Fresno State will win it, but I don't see them winning it by 13 points. I'll take Hawaii and the 13 points.

I think Utah State is going to get killed at Alabama. Give the points and take Alabama.

I'm betting on La Tech to cover the spread against SJS. Give the points.

New Mexico State vs. Idaho -five......I'll take Idaho and the five points.

Chris Ault doesn't hate Boise at all..He respects the program and would certainly like to win the game but he was a vocal advocate for inviting Boise to the Big West and the WAC.

I know you guys like to perpetuate an 'us against the world" chip on your shoulder thing but you are just another league game..I don't think the Pack will beat you tomorrow but the pendulum swings..Eventually some other school will rise to the top and be the big kid for awhile.

Boise is a nice rival but you don't stir the passions like Nevada Southern does. Nevada has been tangling with Fresno and San Jose for longer than the Boise series with the Pack too. I don't think you folks have ever considered Nevada to be your biggest rivals. Why should the Pack elevate you to that status...?..It's all good.

One thing I like to say is that anything is possible with games and I think unlike other years, there is a thought by most people the Wolf Pack will be able to hang around with Boise for this game. If they are competitive in the game, I think that will be a victory for the Wolf pack even though people will get angry at me for saying that.

As for the game I don't, the last couple days have had a bad feeling over it.
