Kind words from Hill

Utah State has a new fan: Pat Hill.
Yes, the same Pat Hill who is the head coach at Fresno State. Yes, those same Bulldogs who just pounded the Aggies. No, Hill insists, he's not just being a gracious winner.
"Utah State, after watching the film, is a well-coached team," Hill said. "They played very hard. They are going to be a very good team in the near future. . . . I was very impressed with them."
After taking an early 7-0 lead, the Aggies turned the ball over on three straight possessions. Fresno ended up scoring more points than any Utah State opponent in three years.
Still, Hill said, "Their defense played with good fundamentals. . . . Our offensive linemen were impressed by how physical the Utah State kids were."
On offense, the Aggies managed only 202 total yards. Jackson was 12-of-19 passing for 128 yards, but an early interception helped the Bulldogs take control of the game.
"Their quarterback is going to be very good," Hill said. " . . . And their offensive line battled the whole game. They played hard snap-to-whistle. That's very important when you're trying to build a program."
Asked if he was just being kind to a well-beaten opponent, Hill said, "I don't think that's blowing smoke. That's just what I saw."

Brent Guy is Koetter-Hawk disciple. Hawk knows exactly what he's running into this weekend. The Ags are going to play 100% until the game's over. We, like you, have more talent and depth, but TO's would be the big equalizer. If we haven't gotten that out of our system yet it could be a long Portland State sort of night. Hopefully not a Georgia kind of night.
