No Huskie football but holy cow have I gotten a lot done... Cleaned the house, put in a new bathroom faucet, paid all my bills, got a haircut. I for one needed a break.

Hangin at Pa's place down yander in Arkansas. Helped him put up some signs to get a volunteer "firehouse" built close to his house so his insurance rates will go down.

Worked on my car trying to change my second drive shaft but failed miserably. Broke a 3/4 drive 32mm socket and a 1/2 drive breaker bar. Gonna need to wait to get home to complete the project. I was able to replace the other one and the alternator yesterday.

Heading home tomorrow and looking forward to a busy week!

Blues, Bucs, Cubs, NIU how does that happen ?

Blues - my first sporting event that I ever went to
Bucs - my grandparents are from Tampa and I got into football down there
Cubs - Cardinal fans pissed me off so I started following the cubs and have been a cubs fan since
NIU - only 2 schools that I could go to that had meteorology NIU or WIU, I think I chose wisely

Went downtown and bought a crap ton of chemicals and supplies for a photo/darkroom class Im taking. Going to a concert at Metro tonight.

two hours fall yard clean up - too long procrastinated.
{mowing & planting spring bulbs saved for tomorrow}

took a dozen digital fotos of my yard/garden & halloween dex.
(taking a camera class starting Wednesday)

harvested last of a few zucchini, alot of swiss chard and a few green & hot peppers - bonus from long & warm Sept/Oct.

errands: bank despoits /BCBS reimbursement checks ($320.00) in today's mail - thank goodness !
grocery shopping & pharmacy where half my earnings go until BCBS gets around to mailing next reimbursement checks & arriving weeks later.

clean out/vacuum inside of car & trunk and go thru car wash.

Listen to NIU-Iowa while around the town and then watch conclusion of Navy's OT win over ND ater returning form Jewel.

Went to Brookfield Zoo with my two daughters. This might open up a trip to NIU next week end for the football game. Hopefully, when my wife gets home from work, she will reward me for being a good dad if you know what I mean.

WHOOPS.

Covered up outdoor furniture, yard work and spent $30 to watch Northwestern blow another 4th quarter lead.
At least it's a different kind of frustration and pain than watching the Huskies and variety is important.

But the day get a whole lot better watching Navy beat Notre Dame in OT.
