Maybe I was off with that thinking, but can money mean that much to the guy, he has more than he would ever be able to spend in 2 lifetimes anyway. He knows with the Sox he would have really good protection hitting around him. Another factor which seems small but could factor in, US Cellular is a HR hitters paradise. You know A-Rod has the HR record in sight and probably is thinking alot about that. Sox would be a GREAT fit for that.

You guys are probably right though it might be a long shot, but if there is not a Uribe upgrade next year I will be upset.

The funny part about that picture is that it looks like one of the hall monitors at Sycamore HS and is being circulated around their cell phones. One kid even posted it in the school and got suspended.

I'd rather sign Eckstein. Avoid the drama, fill the leadoff role which the WS haven't done since Podsednik can't stay healthy plus he's played on a World Series Winner which ARod hasn't. That would also give the WS $ to make a bid for Rowand or Hunter to shore up CF.
