RE: Record That Would Fire Robinson
Unless the Orange shock me with their win total, I sure hope he is fired. I say that because I'm seeing something around 2-10 this season, and that could be hopelessly optimistic. Syracuse very well could be an underdog in every game, including against Buffalo and Miami.

In a season where they should be improved, if he can't beat Miami and Buffalo, I'd sure hope he at least be fired mentally in the AD's head, barring a remarkable turnaround to a winning Big East league mark later in the season. I only say fired mentally because I can't imagine a firing mid-season.

Question for Syracuse fans, if he loses to Buffalo, would it even matter what he did over the rest of the season, short of a bowl appearance to save his job? The only 3 modern matchups have been a combined 131-24 score for the Orange this decade, and that even includes a 31-0 win in Robinson's first season. It'd be a little unfair to act as if Buffalo is the same team now under Gill as they were in 2005, but the heat should explode if he loses that game.

If Syracuse does go winless, we'll have a trivia question tying George w. Bush to William McKinley. The question? Who were the sitting presidents during the two times Syracuse was beaten by Buffalo? Ugly ugly.

If they lose to Buffalo, he should be fired on the spot.

Sad thing is, I really feel like that is actually possible. Seeing this team and their performance the past two weeks, I really feel they could actually go winless. They might get a break here or there, but this team is literally pathetic and it has EVERYTHING to do with Greg Robinson.

RE: Record That Would Fire Robinson
For the sake of the Big East, I hope Syracuse goes 3-9 this season. That total would include wins over Illinois, Miami of Ohio, and Buffalo, but losses against every Big East team. This would both increase everyone else's chances of making a bowl game and keep the Big East from having a 10-loss team. The Orange getting competitive late in the season, no offense, would only screw things up for the rest of the league. It might also save Greg Robinson and I hope/pray that there is not one Syracuse fan on the planet who wants that to happen. But three wins against the non-autobid teams on the schedule, followed by seven losses in Big East play, should be enough to both help the league out and get Greg Robinson fired.
