NTR - Cincy Fans - Bengals that Is
Tonight we begin to find out if two years ago was a fluke and whether or not Marvin is for real.

On another topic - I didn't get to see Mauk the other night against Oregon State. How did he do?

I'll be in Paul Brown in 5 hours rooting for my 2nd favorite team, the Bengals, and rooting against my #1 hated Ravens!

Good for you but please tell me that number one is not the STEELERS!

I'm thinking his number 1 is the UL Cardinals.

I think the Bengals will be lucky to be 9-7 this year. More likely 7-9 or 8-8. Lets hope I'm wrong...

Actually my #1 is the Cleveland Browns! That's how you know I'm a true fan! I get heat all the time up here because saying you like the Browns and Bengals appears similar to claiming you like UofL & UK back in Kentucky. I grew up in Louisville as a Browns fan from childhood, but started cheering for the Bengals earlier this decade before Marvin was around.

So its probably easy to see why I hate Baltimore! If I had it my way, the Browns would go 16-0 and the Bengals 14-2. In the real world though for 2007, I'd like to see a Bengals division title and some progress for the Browns towards 2008. That probably means starting Quinn in a few weeks and see what happens. It's not like we're going to win more than a handful of games anyway.

From my viewpoint, Mauk had an off night. He had trouble with the shotgun snap several times. He had to run for his life many times.

However, Oregon State has a pretty good defense, and caused a lot of the problems.

But Mauk managed to steer clear of any critical mistakes and played well enough when he needed to.

As for the Bengals, I think tonight will be a tough one and I would not be surprised if they lose.

Great game to be at tonight! I don't know how it looked on TV but the crowd was really into it. Most of the stadium stood the whole game except for timeouts, and it was very loud, especially when the Ravens had the ball. I loved seeing the Ravens fail to score on 8 straight "and goal" plays at the very end!

That was a nice crowd on TV. Maybe someday Cincy can get that crowd. Hopefully, after Cincy beats OSU the crowd will be there to show support.

You could definitely tell the crowd was into it on TV. The Bengals inability to put the game away early with the opportunities that the Ravens handed 'em worries me a bit.

Good luck to your numero one team next week05-mafia. - NOT!

Ha ha! Sometimes the Browns will give Cincy a closer game than one would expect based off the records, but I'm not sure it'll happen this week.
