Last night I had a rather interesting and enjoyable dream. I wonder if it has any meaning?

So NIU is playing a night football game at Nebraska. I travel all the way to the game only to get there and realize that I forgot to buy tickets, so I have to watch the game on T.V. So I go back home and watch the game at a friends house. For some reason my friend is not interested in watching the game, but his dad and his grandma are watching it with me.

The game turns out to be a defensive battle between the two teams. For most of the first two quarters the score is Nebraska 21 -NIU 14. Then midway through the second quarter NIU manages to drive down the field and score a TD. Now the score is 21-21 and Nebraska is getting fed up with this little NIU team. Then Nebraska promtly turns the ball over with a pick. NIU then runs a play where the running back went for a hail mary pass and somehow got ahead of the db that was covering him. So Nicholson throws a lob pass and the RB takes it all the way for a score. Back at my friends house I'm cheering wildly, but my friends dad and grandma are just silently staring at me like I'm insane.

At this point some Nebraska players get really pissed off and run over and spear tackle our RB, and start trying to beat him up. Strange thing is that he just takes it. Yellow flags go all over the place and several Nebraska players get ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Then I woke up. That's probably the most enjoyable dream I've had in a very long time.

Defensive battle means low scoring right?

Sounds like a good dream...I've had NIU football dreams before. Also, I woke the morning after the MAC championship when NIU was in it and I was strangling my pillow.

There would be a lot of corn involved in that game.

The dream means you experience great anxiety in your life caused by guilt for being forgetful and also for resenting your immediate family members who don't share in your enthusiam for NIU .
