So, I was listening to the police/fire scanner today during the storm and heard that there was a fire at Neptune. All of the fire trucks were dispatched there and they upgraded it to a code red... they had ambulances in the chick evans field house parking lot and stuff. Gas line caused it. From what I could hear, they were able to contain it with what they had. This is all kind of off the blower so dont take it 100% seriously, but I def heard it all happen on the scanner and it was quite interesting to listen to.

i heard this also talking to one of the summer ca's online not to long ago, supposidly there worried about orientation stuff and the damage that could prevent the orientation stuff since a lot of it is held there

So is your dad a police officer or fire fighter or something or are you just into scanners.. just wondering.

i go to the NASCAR race every year in Joliet and so I have a scanner to listen in to the team radios. I just programmed the police/fire freqs in for fun.
