Yes, much different mix there--83% white and 12% black. There is almost no Mexican population there. I am surprised at that.

I live in a place that is 90% black 8% white 2%other and I can tell you that it is an adjustment being a minority. It is a great learning experience and will certainly either increase your adaptation skills or make you even more close minded.
This is my second go around as a minority the first was living in Turkey. I think overall both have made me a better person.
