We have too many Challenges running at the same time...

Pool
NFL Draft
Survivor
NHL Playoffs

I think there needs to be a little more control put on how many challenges are running at the same time...

Just my opinion mind and we all know what opinions are like right???

******** everybody got one and they all stink...

NavyDoc.....Pooh and I talked about that. We were going to keep it at 3 challenges for the exact reason you talked about. BAKEDatUMD started his challenge on his own, which is fine. Anyone can use this forum as they wish, and as long as PoohTerp is ok with it! So....we may have too many challenges going, but thats better than too few!

I think it's good that there's a lot of challenges to choose from. Some people don't like some games...some people don't like others. You can choose to participate in the ones you want and ignore the others.

To be quite honest, I would prefer people PM'ing me and discussing new challenges with me before they post them. That way we can decide ahead of time if it's going to count towards ACCbbs Cup.. go over the rules and make sure there isn't going to be any problems... and just, well, talk about it.

Baked.. I'm not upset at all! Don't misunderstand me. I only saying that from now on, for bigger type challenges, I would prefer some advanced warning.

This is everyone's forum. I will never tell anyone that they can't post a challenge. I just like the head's up. Sometimes Larry, Jeremy and I have already preplanned a challenge and it would suck if someone posted the same type thing before we did.

Also, I'm trying to avoid problems like we had with the NCAA Tourney challenge where people started new pools and we were never able to get all the results.

Make sense, all?

considering the lax rules around here.. i can only imagine what they will do to get banned.

and now that i think about it.. and maybe i shouldn't say this.. but when this board first formed.. one of the major critiques from 'over there' was that our lax rules would lead to big problems and more banishments.

HA!! HA!! Have we banned anyone here yet???

From the short time that I've been here -- and I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know when the board was started -- I've noticed that the posters from all schools have been extremely level-headed and intelligent.

You can create the fanciest message board in the world, but the posters will decide how good a board it is. IMO, this is an excellent one... and it's a credit to all who post on here.

I don't even think anyone has gotten even close to being banned.
