It's weird because he can make the 15-20+ ft putts or chip it in from off the green (like yesterday), but he misses more short putts (less than 5 feet) than anybody in the PGA.

Man...for somebody SO dang talented, my boy Phil (I've mentally adopted him as "my boy" because he's only a couple of days older than me, and I like to root for the underdog <img border="0" alt="[Laughing]" title="" src="graemlins/laughing.gif" /> ) SURE knows how to choke when the pressure is on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" /> I'd LOVE to see him win it all this week...but come on, we all know that it probably isn't going to happen. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

He didn't blow up. Only one person in the whole field broke 70 on Sunday. He had a 71. He had a very good round consider the conditions for the course. Of course, when you're starting 4 back, then 1 under par just doesn't cut it. He was so close to getting in the mix, but thats always his problem. Close.....but not quite.
