Nate's parents were provoked. People were harrassing them, constantly, just because Nate went to Duke!!! Just because Nate lived in DC, that means he is obliged to go to MD, huh?

Maryland fans to roll out the red carpet for them??? They were the ones who provoked the physicalities involved. This was not the 54 second game either...it was one year before. And yes 54 seconds does ring a bell, thanks for reminding me, though.

Juan is in at the end of blowouts, MD just hasn't had as many as Duke this year.

I expect them to leave the parents alone! Harrass the players! That's acceptable because it's a whole "trash talk" thing, but to attack (verbally) player's parents is just wrong. They come to support their son and what they get is harrassment because their son made the college choice that was right for him. Pathetic.

Taunting is fine! People taunt all throughout the game, you just don't hear it. Wilcox talks mad trash throughout the game, as does Blake. That is a form of taunting.

No, punching is completely unacceptable. He never should have done it, but he wasn't the only one who did something wrong. Physical wounds heal, verbal ones rarely do.

Yes, Wilcox talks a lot during the game, and it doesn't look like "Nice post move! Can you teach me that sometime?"

Being hit in the face has nowhere near the emotional impact that an offensive insult does. If someone calls you something offensive, and then hits you in the face, in the long run, the insult is going to hurt a lot more.

Is today april fools day? This has to be a joke...if you really think words hurt more than physical violence, you've lead way too sheltered a life. I've been called a million things and couldn't recall any of them if i was being paid too, but i can tell you specifically everytime i got in a fight (atleast while sober enough to remember).

Maybe personal experience plays a role in this, because I can remember all of the times I have been verbally insulted. The only reason I remember fights is because of the punishment consequences.
