The Taliban was never a terrorist group. They were an oppressive regime, akin to the Ba'ath Party, that supported terrorism. ...and they have no where to regroup, with any significant numbers.

The Taliban is a government, not a terrorist group, you're right. But the link between them and terrorism is undeniable.
They have no where to regroup???? Buddy... we only control part of Western Afghanistan.

I guess there is a couple left but spending money on these poorer nations i think is more important at this time and helping to educate them will only cause them to like us more.
