I've never done fantasy football with a live draft. How long do you anticipate this draft taking (as in how late would I be up if I decided to join)?

Yes, it will auto draft for you.
As far as how long it takes it has been my experience that this thing always takes a lot longer than you think it should.

Theoretically, it could take 234 minutes, but I'm banking on more like 45 minutes to an hour. Of the guys signed up so far, most will know who they want when it's their turn to draft. One guy might take longer, but he's a Bama fan, so it is expected. 
JD: There are two other guys that will also have to pre-rank, so you wouldn't be alone. Now that Yahoo has teamed up with The Sporting News these last couple of years, even if you don't pre-rank, you should get a competitive team. You might end up with Vick in the first couple of rounds though.
