ATLANTA, GA (AP) A press conference on Sunday
afternoon, disclosed that a Lawsuit, sought
by a Mr YouGeeAye, of Marietta, GA was served
on Turner Classic Movie Executives on Friday.
The Lawsuit, seeks to prohibit the Network from
airing movies that are offensive, to the television
viewing public.
The Lawsuit has been endorsed by a number of
members of the Internet Sports Forum Group,
ACCBBS.
The document labels the Editors, Producers and
Management of TCM as low-life swine, totally
insensitive to the prolonged mourning that many
of its viewers, experience.
It describes TCM employees as people who hide
behind their typewriters , and who are oblivious
to the pain and suffering of others.
A teary-eyed YouGeeAye, his black armband, faded
to a light brown, caused by nine months of continuous
wear said; "We will not stop until these movies are
forever banned or altered.
The two initial movies named in the lawsuit are, Old
Yellar and the Wizard of Oz.
TCM executives would not comment on the lawsuit,
except to announce that Old Yellar, is still scheduled
for broadcast in late fall.
The suit does not seek to halt the viewing of the
Wizard of OZ, but does demand more exposure
for Toto.
"Dog lovers everywhere, want more exposure and
credit given to Toto," exclaimed YouGeeAye, while
at the same time he was seen clicking the heels
of his pretty red pumps together and was heard
whispering; "I wish the Admins would ban Paul, I
wish the Admins would ban Paul!"
YouGeeAye's wife, YouGeeEtte, who herself resembles,
Auntie Em, was at his side throughout the conference.
His talk was interrupted numerous times by applause
from many of the ACCBBS members who attened.
At the conclusion of the Press Conference, YouGeeAye
and his well-wishers all locked arms and began their
picket of TCM"s executive office. They marched
back and forth in front of the main entrance to the
bukilding and were chanting in unison..."Joooooo-O,
Jo-E-O!" "Jooooooooo-O, Jo-E-O!"
