This is amazing to me. Newsweek has Kerry ahead, but only with a 4 point bounce out of his convention.
Either poll could be wrong, but both show one thing to me, Kerry got virtually nothing from his convention, and I believe that has to worry his campaign.
I still say polls aren't really good, in my mind at least, until after both conventions are done.
Interesting none the less though.

Quote:Before the convention, the two were essentially tied, with Kerry at 47%, Bush at 46%.
I don't think the conventions will have that much to do with it. People have pretty much made up their minds. When the debates began, that's then the polls will start to spread out.

I agree. That's why I think the one's now don't really matter.
The debates are going to be huge. I can honestly say I'm pretty excited about seeing how they play out.
The vice presidential one will be great to watch as well.

I'm hearing that ABCnews/WashingtonPost are falling all over themselves touting a poll that shows Kerry getting a big bounce, to be released Monday night.
So...3 or 4 polls show Kerry getting marginal to no bounce, but watch how quickly Dems latch onto this 1 poll.

My theory on polls is- If I wasn't included, then it's not legit.
Polls before the election can be very misleading. These pollster groups know where to go to find a margin of separation, no matter how falsely misleading it is to America's opinion as a whole.
