He’s at it again, basically he says he doesn’t support gay marriage, BUT gays should be allowed to Marry. He says religion is important to him, but doesn’t want to show his faith in public because he doesn’t want it to divide people. What about living what you believe? Mr. Kerry don’t start pandering to get votes. To quote a liberal I respected the late Paul Tsongas, “I think he is a Pander Bear.

Religion is NOT important to him. If he was a Catholic, he would not have voted 72 times in favor of brutal abortion laws, and would not turn his back on basically every fundamental Church teaching.
As a Catholic, I hope he never shows his face in a Church again, and I applaud the Bishops for refusing to serve his communion host.

As a Catholic, I wish our bishops weren't playing politics with the sacrament of communion.
I also wish they would show as much passion about the principles of just war as laid out by Saint Thomas Aquinas.

Politics? John Kerry was coming to Mass, campaigning in front of a crucifix, then leaving the Church, essentially turning his back on every principle the Church stands for.
The Bishops have every right to refuse him Communion, and it is NOT because of politics.
A man who votes repeatedly to support abortion, which is currently the biggest genocide in the WORLD, it is certainly not unreasonable to believe that he is NOT fit to recieve the Body and Blood of our Christ.

Kerry has painted himself into an untenable position on this issue. If he believes "life starts at conception", then he believes that abortion is a taking of that life, or murder. And his votes against the partial birth abortion ban suggest a cavalier attitude toward human life that would seem to contradict a "life begins at conception" stance.
I find it hard to believe that partial birth abortion would be acceptable to ANYONE, much less someone who believes that life began 9 months earlier.

I would note for our conservative friends that the Catholic Church also opposes capital punishment unless there is absolutely no other way to protect the safety of society and they also note that, with modern penal systems, that excuse is rarely, if ever, valid.

If the sacraments aren't important in politics, then what spheres of life do they play a role?
You've also never answered the question from >1 million Iraqis as to why no one was willing to get involved with a madman at their helm.
I don't think you know Aquinas' answer as well as you think you do.
