The reason conservatives are so succesful on talk shows is cause thats what people want to hear, not this "multi-cultural, multi-lateral, UN-*******" rhetoric.

If media really mattered to these folks then they'd have been all over the absurdity that aired on Phil Donahue's show.
They'd also be concerned w/ the promiscuity on television, particularly that which is overtaking the traditional "family hour". This of course is in direct conflict with the "Put Kids First", AIDS awareness and other "educational" programs that are promised to end problems like teen-aged/unwed pregnancy, AIDS, STD's, etc. These problems grow, until conservatives' programs are employed.
They should be concerned w/ the overall lack of artistic ability too. Aren't these the same folks that support the NEA? Aren't they the ones demanding educational curricula have a section on the arts? Yet, the writing, acting, music, etc in the popular media is wretched. It demonstrates no talent, no sophistication and no inspiration.
Speaking of education, if media really matters to these people, then wouldn't they police the very medium they are using? I mean the logical fallacies used in this cartoon alone would amply fill an introduction to logic textbook. Are they exploiting one medium to denounce others? Why?
Really MAKO, you tried to become educated, why waste your time with this nonsense?

If you can't laugh at Rush Limbaugh then you are missing the point. The man is an entertainer and wants to make people laugh. Hell all of these talk show hosts didn't become successful because of their ideas. They became successful because how they presented their ideas, thus bring people along with them. This little game show shows some of their highlights. Obviously the makers want it to look bad on the talk show hosts but i doubt this cartoon will change anyone's opinions.
