Ted got his butt handed to him w/ the AOL merger.

He was out-of-date, never got what he really wanted, and frankly had much luck on his rise to stardom (see Bo Peabody's new book). Whereas his ego keeps him believing it was all him.

He's been jealous of Murdoch for a decade or more.

Bingo. The Braves suck, the company's fiscal status sucks, and AOL is ran from the 8th layer of eternal damnation.
