I've done it. I don't believe it should be illegal. It's akin to punishing someone for drinking and driving on his way out of the front door. Do you know that he was heading for the car to put the keys in the ignition? Or was he going outside to check the mail he forget to check earlier?

Yeah, he must have gone further than just viewing a website. Lots of time when there is an attack some news site posts a link to the terrorist's websites where they are taking crdit for an attack. Thousands of people must view those sites. Are they all arrested? Nope. I'm guessing he was doing something that caused alarms to go off at the FBI.

Fair enough. Maybe the article wasn't as objective as I thought. But, they did throw in some apparent facts.

And that's why I don't have much sympathy. Whatever his reasons for visiting those sites, he committed marriage fraud.

Tough luck buddy. You did break the law, and this ain't the time for overlooking those offenses.
