How are you going to get rid of affirmative action and its flaws if you do not offer an alternative. If Republicans are interested in "Equal Opportunity" for all (and that is a big IF) and they do not like the current policy, then they should put out their own policy for fixing the problem.
Why is it a big IF? I don't know a single Republican who is against equal opportunity for all job applicants. In fact I have never heard anyone that I have ever worked with ever mention not hiring someone based on anything other than job related skills. Also every interview that I have ever done or been apart of requires the use of detailed notes taken during the interview, so that if there ever is a dispute (lawsuit) over why one person was hired over another there is documented proof.

Vanderbilt holds their student athletes to the same high admission standards. They do pretty well. . . .

errrr, not in football. But in everything else they're doing well. Especially womens bowling!!! 03-wink 03-wink 03-wink
