I agree.. We hit the skids early, and now the league is starting to pick up the pace. Only a week or so before conference play starts.

I'm going to keep updating this thread weekly to track our RPI progress. Yesterday was so good that Mercer jumped 30 spots and everyone else had large jumps too. We collectively dropped the SoCon down from 6th to 8th in one day too. Just shows how fragile the RPI is right now.

Yea we got crushed by beating FL A&M (60 spots). So its really a strange RPI right now.

Coaches poll puts Georgia and Georgia tech around the mid 40's and we're 2-1 against them this season. It's just too early to tell for anybody especially computers that don't do well when a team has an "off-day" that humans tend to overlook

we really are better then uga, and i feel were better then tech as well. stetson is the match i'm looking at..that will show us where we truly are..with a 3 game series.

I'm gonna have to break down and buy the Mercer series on HATTER Vision!

I meant to add that Stetson dropping 10 spots is no big deal. Not much room to move up when you were 16th last update. The A-Sun owes Stetson a huge debt this season to give us a shot at 2 bids, and national recognition!

It will still be tough for Stetson to win the tourney I believe. If I could bet "The Field" vs. Stetson in the tourney I would. Too many solid teams that could string together some W's.

We're doing our usual. Schedule a bunch of weak OOC games that we win, front load the schedule with the bottom half of the A-sun, then get into the tougher games, fall apart, and we'll recover to barely finish over .500. Still though, it'll result in a top half of the conference finish.
