Just an FYI for anyone interested. WKU is suing Italian television conglomerate Mediaset for $250 million in a copyright infringement case involving the use of a mascot that appears to be a nearly exact likeness to WKU's Big Red. Il Gabbibo (the Italian mascot) is a national celebrity in Italy with his own television show and a lot of other associations. Mediaset is controlled by Italy's billionaire prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi. If you'd like to read the complete story and check out photo's of the two, Big Red and Il Gabbibo, check them out here: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/02/27/busine...ner=GOOGLE

It would be awesome if WKU could come up with that kind of money...maybe we'd be able to go 1-A in football then. 04-cheers

That's some serious money for updates in the football program. If ya'll win that one, ya'll should update the program and move up. Good luck on the case.
