From the UL page:

"STARS OF 2004: WR Bill Sampy -- The Ragin' Cajuns lost one of the best receivers in school history in Fred Stamps, but Sampy is very talented and has great hands and speed. He will certainly improve on last season when he caught 39 passes (second on the team) for three touchdowns."

Oh what could have been a great year for Bill has been shot down.

STARS OF 2004: RB DeWhitt Betterson -- Troy State lost two backups in midseason (injury and suspension), putting all of the load on Betterson last year. No problem. The 6-foot, 218-pounder absolutely carried the offense down the stretch and set school records with 46 carries and 230 yards vs. Utah State. He finished his junior season with 1,161 yards and nine touchdowns on 244 carries.

If DeWhitt's health is at 100% in the fall, this guy will be a superstar for us!
