One of the best games I have seen at Stanky field yet.
Joey started off strong, but faltered rather early. Emke did well, but still surrendered some runs...but PJ did outstanding.
Hats off to Clark Secchiari (sp?) for a couple of running catches in the outfield, and to Guillermo Martinez for nailing that key double play in the 9th. His defense was crap at the beginning of the season, but it looks like he's showing us what he can do.

Overall, awesome game. I'll remember this one for a loong time.

How 'bout P. J. Walter--he's pitching a lot of quality innings. I hope they don't burn him out. And, most importantly; he's only a freshman. Actually the team overall is awful young. They need a few more confidence building wins like that one. 04-cheers
