Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida

With the hopeful departure of Denver and the addition of another "Louisiana" school, we will have a pretty regionally compact conference. This will help not only with travel cost (money which can be spent on bettering our facilities) but in football (since we are such a young football conference) will help develop some rivalries which should also help attendence. I for one will be very happy to see this happen.

Adding UL-Monroe for all sports would bring us to the required eight if FIU and FAU progress to 1A as expected. FIU and FAU have made the committment and have budgeted to succeed. Maybe a 9th football school that fits into the conference can be added later.

The 9th school should be Western Kentucky.
