The Belt only played a 6 game schedule that year, but MTSU was 8-3 with a win over Vandy under their belt that season.

If you scan through the standings of conferences that play an 7 game schedule you see it isn't very common for two schools to not post 5 or 6 league wins. If two post 6 league wins that means 2 eligible. With a 5-2 league record it is likely they will have another qualifying league win.

If the Belt can find a 9th football school and go to an 8 game schedule we are virtually guaranteed to have at least 2 teams posting 6 qualifying wins.
