Noce's status uncertain

Arkansas State quarterback Nick Noce found himself in no-man’s land Saturday afternoon at Middle Tennessee State.
Now he’s in the land of the unknown.
Noce was alone and on his own on a bootleg play during the fourth quarter that the Blue Raiders turned into far more than just a 7-yard loss. The play never developed and Noce was crushed beneath a swarm of Middle Tennessee defenders, leaving him hobbled, bruised and in excruciating pain.
Preliminary indications Saturday night were that ASU’s starting quarterback suffered a deeply bruised hip, although it could be more. As a result, the Indians are preparing backup quarterback Devin Hollins for this week’s Homecoming game against Troy University.
