Just FYI. The Sycamores look to be tougher than the team you dismantled in 2000, despite last year's 3-8 record (did beat EMU). Keep an eye on the QB, who appears to be a legit pass-run threat.

Considerate Chimp.....thanks for the warning. We're aware of the one man band that is Indiana State. However, it will take more than one man to beat the Broncos.

"Considerate Chimp"
Try to be neighborly and get flamed. Sheesh! What else should I expect from a gluebag?
In all seriousness, I'll root for both our teams OOC, although I fear a 1-3 start is all too probable for the Broncs. On general principle, I hope your team sticks it to Purdue. Boiler fans have been obnoxious the last few seasons...

That's because historically Purdue has so little experience with being winners that they have not yet learned to do it gracefully.
You are correct that our OOC schedule will be difficult. But we're optimistic that we'll pull an upset in one of those games. I prefer that it be against the Vasolines. And we're really pumped to be able to host V Tech, no matter what the outcome. They're a great team, and have a classy bunch of fans. We hung with them pretty admirably until the end of the game last year, and hope to do even better this year.
Now, explain to this "gluebag" if you will, the rationale behind a letter "C" breaking wind as a logo.

Logo: changing from the old spear-and-feather annoyed a bunch of us. !@#$%* PC whiners (as far as I know, the Chippewa Tribe had no real problem with it)! I'd say a block "C" in the classic style would have been better, can't much argue with you.
I saw most of the WMU/Va Tech game last season and...if you mean "hung with them" in the sense of kept playing hard/making them work, I agree. However, it WAS 31-0 at 12:15 of the third quarter, and WMU never was able to sustain a drive. Moreover, Lee Suggs didn't play in that game. If Drach -- or someone -- can't step up play from the end of last season, it may be a long day at home for Western...
Again good luck OOC. I enjoyed seeing you knock off Iowa a couple years back.

Yep, that was what I meant about hanging with V Tech. We had some awesome defensive stops, and the Hokies had to play their best against us. We regretted being shut out, but were extremely proud of our effort. And we don't feel the final score was indicative of the game. It was one of those cases where defensive speed shut down our offense. It's hard to counter that, as we may all be finding out with UCF this year.

Not to butt in, but Indiana State has a player with one of the best names in college football - SoSo DeDe. He transferred to Ind. St. after 2 years at Navy, where he got in only a few plays. He led ISU's conference in KO returns in '01 and ran for 550 yards as a RB, 500 in the last 6 games. In track he had one of the fastest times in the NCAA's in both the 100 meters & 200 meters. I came across DeDe last year while I was doing some research on Virginia recruiting - he was the #50 player in VA his senior year of HS.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled intra-Michigan discussion.
