Arguably your best chance at a home win. Will the Owls put it all together to beat the Broncos or will Western break its winless streak against I-A teams?

Temple is a 3.5 pt home dog. Western played MD well, and will have enough cojones to take to the Owls, even if the talent is equal. Bobby Wallace cannot motivate this team.

WMU 23, Temple 17

I disagree. The Owls showed some guts last week against Toledo and will pull the upset tomorrow.

Temple 24
Western Michigan 14

Coolhand red. I win. Case of wine was our bet, right? If you want to make money in future games, bet against Wallace. Horrible coach.

Anyone who saw the WMU at. Temple games knows it was rigged! Temple did have chances and failed to capitalize, but the MAC refs pratically handed to the game to WMU. I am starting to think the MAC is using us for our TV market and will do everything in their power to help the current members of the MAC win, even if involves cheating.

Everytime Temple had a big play, the refs magically found the need to throw the yellow flag. Almost 80 percent of the calls were made up and WMU got away with murder!!!! A load of their big plays came while WMU O-line is clearing holding the D player. Something that everyone could easily see from the stands or their TV set.

WMU knows they recieved help from the MAC refs. The players could not believe the stuff they were getting away with themselves. We intercepted the ball, ran it back to the 50 yard line and our player tosses the ball up three feet in the air and gets penalized for unsportsman like conduct. FOR WHAT!!!! HE CAN'T BE EXCITED ABOUT MAKING A GREAT PLAY... Made up. Several late hits by WMU on our players out of bounds, but no call. We stop them on 3rd down and our player BUMPS IN TO THE QB....WHO DID NOT EVEN FALL TO THE GROUND... and a roughing the passer is called on us. WOW!!!!

That games was so much crap.... and if the MAC is going to do this everytime we play a MAC opponent then let us know ahead of time and we will find another place were we will be welcomed. No one is stupid...If our addition is soley based on your attempt to attract eastcoast attention then we won't waste our time. JUST AS GREEDY AS THE BIG EAST....I THOUGHT THE MAC HAD MORE CLASS THAN THAT....

GO OWLS!!!!

A winless team cannot be blaming its losses on the refs. Low profile games get the worst refs. They did beat the spread. WMU ia a middle of the pack MAC team. This assertion is absurd. I have been to plenty of Temple games where the reffing has been bad, and most of those went against Temple. That is what happens when a lowly team with little expectations plays a close one. A coach with balls, who wants to turn his program around, makes known his displeasure in so many uncertain terms when he talks to the media, and files complaints with the league. Will Wallace or Temple do that?

He better!!! If I had the power I would. I guess what your saying about low profile refs for low profile games is true, but calls on one team should also be called on the other if they to are committing the same kind of penalties. A low profile referee is not suppose to favor one team over the other. A referee is a referee, so a low profile ref is not a good excuse for what happened Saturday. Bottom line is the game was called unfairly and if the NCAA or MAC will hire referees who only know what an off-sides or false start is then I just feel sorry for them.

Their is no excuse for what happened, the refs obviously were told to give WMU lots of chances to win.

If you watched the game, then you would understand where I'm coming from.

I won't touch the officiating discussion, but let me just say that WMU is NOT a middle-of-the-road team. Saturday's win was the Broncos' first against a I-AA team since the end of 2003; they were winless last year.

While they have hope, they certainly don't have proof of being a middling MAC team.

Good luck @ BG Saturday.

I'm giving WMU some benefits of the doubts, here. Let the season play out.
