Elmore can shoot the ball, period. It doesn't matter what level you come from, if you can shoot, you can shoot. His greatest obstacle was going hard all the time. If he can play at a high intensity level, his offense isn't a problem.
He can shoot but who can he guard would be the question? He is another guy that can't move his feet and that puts him in a zone situation, if he can play that. I don't have a problem with mixing it up but teams know who plays where and what type defense. I would like to see him have an impact but to this point he is an unknown at best.
Since he hasn't played, only the coach knows.
What coach would that be? His high school is the only one who has seen him play defense in a game. Playing in practice against your teammates is not an indicator of how you play in a game in most cases. He was soft in high school but that was about 3 years ago now. Will he play this season ?
