3 star pro-style QB from Mobile, Alabama...led his HS team to victory in the 5A championship game....seems to have the "it" factor as he made clutch throws again and again to rally his team to a late 4th quarter comeback to win the HS championship. He is taking OV to Georgia State next weekend...expected to be the 3rd string practice squad QB. Holds offers from Georgia State, Akron, Louisiana, Jacksonville State, Liberty, Central Arkansas, and etc. Strangely, his hometown school, USA, didn't offer.

Maybe Joey didn't look at him, but I hope the new staff looks at him. We have 3 senior qbs and haven't signed one yet. The St Paul qbs have done well lately, for a while Alabama was getting AJ McCarron and Jake Coker after he transfered from FSU.

yeah I was very surprised that USA overlooked him. I'm more surprised that he wants to come to GSU to be a 3rd string QB. Of course, I selfishly wish that we sign him for depth and competition.

USA did not overlook him, I know that much. I’m just not sure there was enough mutual interest, for whatever reason, to convince our coaches to spend a lot of time talking to him. He’s a great kid and looks like a pretty good football player on a solid team. His school produces a ton of D1 athletes (we have a few of them).

Some kids just want to go away for school. Its not abnormal. Atlanta is a great city, and he will have fun there.

We need to sign a QB and RBs. We will have 3 Senior QBs(Davis,Garvin,Orth) and 2 2nd year players on the roster next season. We need one to Redshirt to have some qbs for 2019 season. We ran out of RBs last year, I think that cost a few games at the end.
