Very good win for the program. Second win over Cal in the last three seasons. Barnes really has the team going in the right direction. Playing two nationally televised games in four nights does not hurt. Attendance was good this year, they had four sellouts during the regular season. They just need to add a little more offensive talent, a little more depth. Hopefully the momentum from the past two seasons will land them a talented recruit or two.

The game with Colorado State should be entertaining. CSU has an RPI of 64, 2nd best in the MWC. CSUB an RPI of 68, 2nd best in the WAC. Common opponents during the season were NMSU and Fresno State. CSU spilt with Fresno State and beat NMSU in a close game. CSUB beat Fresno State and had the one home win against NMSU. CSUB should keep it close with their defense. A win would be very good for the WAC. The WAC is closing the gap on the MWC.

I've been calling it for a while now. The #WACisBACK. Next year our confernce will be very entertaining. Hopefully Seattle gets it together. That's the other WAC school I really want to see lift off. If NMSU, GCU, CSUB, UVU and Seattle U can maintain playing good. The WAC has pretty decent foundation. In some pretty major cities.
