We need a relationship with UTK for sake of the Memphis brand and to ensure that a couple decades from now MTSU does not surpass us in reputation. Being one of UTK's non-conference rivals would do that.
I'm sure they will be beating our door down if we ever get bad again. Wanna put odds on whether the black bears buy out next year's game.
