I hope this kid comes in here and is a solid contributor. But at the end of the day, it seems like its the same thing over and over with this staff: we find ourselves saying/hoping that Mick has repeatedly found that diamond in the rough. I'd rather have a coach that can just go out and recruit the diamond. Huggins did and was doing it in conferences like the Metro and Great Midwest. No more excuses for Mick.

Hopefully the revamped Shoe will help recruiting. I will give Mick that. He has had to recruit with crud facilities. So I'm willing to give him a recruiting cycle or two with the new Shoe (and most likely B12 conference affiliation). If he can't get it done then, I'm done with him.

I don't recall huggs recruiting numerous 5 star players...wingfield...demarr Johnson ...maybe a few others I'm missing...flint originally committed to osu and ended up at UC ....he recruited a lot of jucos...but weren't most 3 star players?

Not sure of their "star" rankings, but I'm starving to see talent come here on the level of JUCO's like Nick Van Exel, Corey Blount or Reuben Patterson.
