Jackson TN is 1 hour, or 65 miles from the edge of Memphis (wolfchase area)

Dayton OH is around that far from Cincy.

This is a proposed merger of the TV markets. The northern tip of the Cincinnati DMA is in Middletown. The southern tip of the Dayton DMA is in Springboro. That is 9.17 miles apart.

just as the Memphis DMA literally buts up to the Jackson TN DMA...this would also be a proposed merger of the TV markets...exactly the same.

C'mon man. Jackson, Tennessee to Memphis, Tennessee is almost 90 miles.

Hell if you are going to go that far; you might as well claim Nashville too, because you are halfway there.

If Memphis can claim Jackson Tennessee then Greenville, North Carolina should be able to claim Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina, because the distance between Greenville and Raleigh is only 84 miles.

if by Memphis, you mean extreme downtown Memphis by the M-bridge....

read my post...

"Jackson TN is 1 hour, or 65 miles from the edge of Memphis (wolfchase area)"

Google confirms that:

Okay... and the edge of the Cincinnati suburb literally touches the edge of the Dayton suburbs. As I said before, apples and oranges.

If you look at a map of the Cincy/Dayton area, all the towns along and near I-75 between the two cities is now basically one big amorphous suburban area. You can drive between downtown Cincinnati and downtown Dayton and it is suburban the entire way. That was not the case as recently as 20 years ago.
