You'll find that a lot of people will simply look at the difference between driving to New Orleans and staying with friends (or just coming back the same day) and spending 1500 bucks a couple to buy 2 plane tickets, rent a car, and get a hotel for 2-3 days and not go to Orlando.

Driving games, especially ones where you don't need a hotel room are going to be much better attended. And therefore more desirable for the school.

I live 2 hours and 15 minutes from the Superdome. I spent 2 nights in New Orleans for each of the last 3 bowls. Very few Cajun fans just drove in for the game and left after.

That being said, I think 15-20.k is a more plausible number for the Cjuns in Orlando.
