In contrast, Valladolid (one spot from relegation) beat Barca a few weeks back. There are also more La Liga sides advancing further in the two European competition than any other league (that's the top 6 teams from last year for the uninitiated).

Just for fun, the CL is down to 4. Two from Spain, one from England....and the eventual champs, again, Bayern Munich.

Yeah and Crystal Palace (also pretty close to relegation) just beat Chelsea recently...Don't forget that Man U hung around with Bayern for 150 minutes as well.
