The last time I went to Cajun Field (2011) the students in the front row dumped beer on the band as they were walking back from halftime. Like father, like son, I guess.

If your band members were talking trash like your football players, I can understand why drunk students would go that far. I don't like it, but trash talking seems to escalate things on and off the field.

I can honestly say this was a time they were not. The students in the front row were obviously drunk or well on their way. They were obnoxiously pointing to the scoreboard and yelling out the 24-3 halftime score.

Sounds like some of the frat rats, they can get out of hand at times. Police should do a better job when it comes to those guys getting whipped up into a frenzy after their tailgate parties.

I've been on the sidelines for two Troy/UL games, they get after each other pretty hard.

Besides incidents like that, Cajun Field is beyond the best atmosphere in the belt. In 2011 right before kickoff I remember thinking it was borderline SEC in terms of loudness and intensity. No where in the SBC comes close.
