EKU - I'm sure there is some bad blood between a lot of folks at WKU and EKU - just a natural rivalry. Heck, we pretty much hate GAST and have never played them in football - I don't know if we have every played them in anything. Imagine if you both were WKU or EKU!

I know that nay sayers can really get on your nerves after a while - especially when you care so much about something, like you obviously do about EKU football. Believe me - I've been there.

I will say that a couple of these WKU guys seem to be just presenting what they know about the struggles and time lines of moving to the FBS - I think - because of the timing of this thread, it appears that you guys are saying that you are trying to prepare to grab that 12 slot - or perhaps the 14th if we do that. In that context, their information is valid.

Just from glancing it over:
You might get 20% from the State! More than I thought you could get - I don't think we got any help! But they might pull half of it back? Still more than we got as far as I know.

The Economy of today is going to make it harder to get private donations - I think those numbers are unbiased. But I can get that most negatives pointed out from a WKU fan are going to be received with a little more salt than if that were coming from anyone else. AND - we all know that this isn't news to your President or administration as they would certainly already know that as well.

What I do see as a Positive is that you have way more FCS historical Respect imop than WKU. I see that we would benefit a lot from having a Kentucky based team in the footprint.

And I'd like to see you guys come on board (as soon as you can) and make WKU wish they had never left. Sort of the way GaTech probably feels now about when they choose to leave the SEC!
