I have several posters that I seem to get along with pretty well. Obviously you're one of them. We tend to think alike, but not on this issue. I think you might be overly optimistic about your chances. Now, if you had kept your old ball coach and won 10, 11 or 12 games in FCS last season, I think you'd finish 2nd or 3rd this year. But with a lackluster showing and no Jerry Moore, I think there will be some uncertainty as to how well you'll do. I'd say the same about Georgia Southern with their new offense and new coach. That's not to say the two of you won't be the kings of the SBC, you certainly have the prestige, history, and tradition to do so. Just not in year one.

Had the same pieces that brought you here were to still be here, I'd be very afraid.

Edited with a another angle to look at: The flip side to that is you're playing in a SBC that is not the same SBC of old. This league is mostly start-ups and move-ups. You could have an advantage there. Best of luck except for one.
