Conflicting stories on Scruggs. Some say he knew so much more than Capel it intimidated him. Others say he was just a jerk. Probably because Scruggs knew he was more qualified to be the HC.

Funny story. After beating App in Boone Scruggs had his GW team posing for pictures in the arena and they left town with the game ball. The next year they returned to Boone and were blown out. One of App's seniors took the game ball to their locker room and asked if they wanted that one too!
