just reading between the lines i have a question for the app st fans. when ya'll need a coach are ex unc folks foisted on you by everyone and their brother?

that's what happens at western. everybody starts shouting anybody that had anything to do with uk and also anyone with u of l ties. the whole big brother knows best crap.

rumor was our president was actually infatuated with opie pelphrey and i thank god that didn't happen.

i'm not saying to eliminate anyone from the 'flagship(s)' but it gets old.

It has happened in the past, sorta how we got Jason Capel in the first place. He had no prior head coach experience, but hey, he was a Tarheel, he has to know something about hoops.

It seems this go round the University is seeking coaching gene pools elsewhere, which is IMHO a good thing.
