O/T: Other games of interest today
Other than the game which starts at 6:00 p.m. in Rynearson. I'll be watching games from noon to midnight:

1). UB @ OSU. OSU might win the NC, but UB might show some spunk today. A 25 point loss is no disgrace here.

2). Toledo @ Florida. Not sure this is an upset special but it could be a very good game.

3). 'Cuse @ PSU. Chance to scout next week's opponent.

4). NIU @ Iowa. NIU plays Iowa and Purdue as they attempt to crash the BCS again.

5). For your DVR: E. Washington @ Ore. State. One of the FCS teams which are very dangerous.

6). KY @ WKU. This could be a showdown. WKU will be dangerous this year.

P.S. I don't know how much the BTN's Gerry DiNardo got paid to answer this question during the WMU/MSU game: "Which game will you be watching tomorrow (i.e., Saturday)?" He said Nebraska and Wyoming. Really? 04-jawdrop x 4

Games to avoid (other than Wyoming @ Nebraska):

UMass @ Wisconsin, CMU @ UofM, and a bunch of other mismatches.

Herbstreit just picked Toledo in an upset over Florida. Also Florida suspended 6 players this morning for team violations, including 3 starters and their star CB.

Herbie is trying to win favor with MAC fans. 03-lmfao

Florida is getting to be a real cesspool.

I've seen some stats (but forget the details) about the problems with their student/athletes.

They certainly a good athletes. I don't know about their academics, but their character has gotten some real scrutiny in the press and it is ugly.

BG played FL tough last year and UT is better.

Now 17 with OSU on the march. Too many mistakes at crucial times.

How about that for a report? I wrote it at 8:15 yesterday morning.

I picked six games to watch and two to avoid and all were as predicted.

Probably my best 'prediction' was E. Washington and Ore State and the Ky/W. Ky game. (EWU is FCS and Ore. State was top 25. Ky and W. Ky is an instate rivalry game of SEC and SBC).

Can you pick a win for us next week against Penn State? I watched them yesterday and I think we have a good chance, I am so glad that we got the 1st game behind us and see what we have in the tank..

I think we may start seeing more of Hilll and Jackson switch out each play so they both stay fresh.. One thought that I had was English didnt want to show too much and is the reason that we came out in the 2nd half and won the game..

The great thing about yesterday game is the offense looked good and the adjustment that we made at halftime was great on both side of the ball..

I'll be in Vegas next weekend so I'll be able to put my 'money where my mouth is'.

If I was there (in Vegas) this weekend, I would have done rather well... :)

I was all over the 'dogs (mostly FCS schools).
