Florida Atlantic will surely surpass the 15,000 mark with this season and next season combined.

Overall, the MAC had the worst attendance. Several were within 1,000 of the 15,000 mark.

I read an article about the 15,000 mark (sorry, I can no longer find it) and how it states that schools are allowed to allocate several thousand students towards that 15,000 number.

In other words, if you have a 5,000 seat student section you are 1/3 of the way there, regardless if any of the students actually go to the game.

In addition, they are also allowed to count comped tickets, tickets for boosters, tickets allocated for the band, tickets allocated for the away team, etc...

At the end of the day, I bet only 5000 tickets sold per game is all they end up needing.
