I heard that the BOR owns all the vacant land around that campus. I don't know if that's true but I do think there is room to expand that campus if they need to. It won't ever be as large as the one in Statesboro though. And getting big name teams to come play us would literally be the point of using that arena. Plus the city of Savannah would probably cut us a deal since a game like that would help boost their economy. You think Little Rock is making Arkansas pay an arm and a leg to host a game in their city every year?

The University of Arkansas isn't paying a dime to play at War Memorial. They only reason they play a game there at all is the state legislature makes them.

They don't pay but they do lose money since Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville holds more and draws better. While I've never been, I hear War Memorial in Little Rock is a dump. I bet they stop playing in Little Rock after the contract ends this year.
