Chunn was hurt that game and couldn't get anything going. You guys were the better team, but there were some factors that played a huge part in how the game played out that you guys are ignoring. Those factors won't be in play this time around. Chunn has a capable backup this year, we're a much deeper team, and we don't play both conference champs in back to back weeks with a five day layover.

That was also Troy's fifth game in a row after playing a tough rivalry game and an extremely physical game against App State. Chunn was beat to death and so we're a lot of other guys. On top of that it was a short week for Troy to get healed up for. StAte had a bye week not long before the game and had nothing but layups against ULM, Georgia State, and NMSU.

ASU was undoubtedly the better team that day, although I'd have to believe Troy would've beaten them on a healthy day.

Can't wait to see what Brown has in store for you guys. I'm sure Troy will be out for revenge.

Assuming you mean Silvers, he makes all the throws and is being considered an NFL prospect. He picked apart LSU's secondary when he needed to and makes clutch passes.

I'm pretty sure if StAte had a RB that could run for 191 yards on LSU's D, plus had two other RB's almost as good as Chunn, Hansen probably wouldn't have a need to throw for a lot of TD's either. Besides, Silvers' overall resume since his freshman season speaks for itself.

Just because they don't rum much does not mean A-State can not run.

Their RB Wand averages 6.0 ypc, which is pretty darn good.

ULL's Ragas tops the SBC with 7.19 ypc, followed by USA's Johnson (6.07 ypc, and Idaho's Duckworth (6,01 ypc). Only Ragas is far ahead of Wand.

As the season progresses I do look for them to run the ball more because they will have games where they will want to run the clock out.

Not saying Wand is a bad RB.

But Troy has ran the ball 174 times this season for 908 yards and averaging 5.2 yards per carry, compared to StAte running just 122 times for 427 yards and averaging 3.5 yards per carry.

We haven't had to rely on Silvers and the pass attack to score. So of course he's only going to have 2 TD's on the season. The Troy rush attack has 13 TD's on the season.

Blake Anderson has said he wants A-State to be a down hill running team and right now, but their new OL just has not gotten there yet. He is hinting they are very close.

Once the OL gels, and it will, then its a whole new ball game, and IMO they will be a very balanced offense, and I'm thinking it is going to happen sooner not later.

Their DC certainly hopes it's sooner, and wants to see some long slow drives by the offense.

All I hear is RPO and take what they give us, which is why we threw so much starting with Nebraska. I've listened to all the press conferences of Blake and Buster and there is not mention of wanting to be a downhill running team.
