I think they made a great choice in getting Affleck to take over the Batman franchise though.

The Batfleck and Willshot castings had fans eating their own faces. It was like Event Horizon on the comic book message boards.

And they both turned out great.

I've liked the DC movies just as much as the Marvel movies.
But I also dig film-noire and westerns.
I absolutely get why a lot of people who love Marvel movies hate the darker cluttered DC movies.

My favorite superhero movie is still The Watchmen.
I could watch The Comedian and Rorschach in a rom-com.
