He is right about that, of course. As for style of play, I personally like all kinds: fast-break, Princeton's half-court and all between. They can all be beautiful if effective and ugly if not. That said, if I were a coach, I would choose whichever style fit my personnel and is most likely to win. Winning is what true Tiger fans want most. Of course, some of our closet SEC spectators, being primarily interested in being entertained may prefer acrobatic exhibitions.
